Hey, thanks for the response Steve. I just typed both expressions into a calculator and see they yield the same result. I have no idea how I was getting different answers for each expression before...

Hi guys, I have a question about algebra. Say we have the problem: 8(10 - 6q) + 3(-7q-2) When I solve this left to right, I get: 80 - 48q + -21q - 6 I then simplify further to: 74 - 69q Apparently ...
