Can I get some recommendations of books about building natural simulations

Why C? It will be interesting and hard for sure. I've tried to google and didn't find anything. C experts always recommend the book The C Programming Language by Dennis Ritchie and Brian Kernighan. When having read that book, (or going directly to the parts you're interested on) you can later join forums or see Natural simulations by trying to read the documentation? I don't know. If you are working in this I can guarantee that you are an advanced programmer and so I assume you know that C is not an object oriented programming language, making Natural simulations quite harsh. But good luck, seems a great idea. Hope one day to be as advanced as you.
