The Da Vinci badge was a sun badge. Greater than the Newton badge because it required 500 mastery skills and gave 200,000 energy points if earned. But based upon all of the other sun badges, this badge perfectly fits its description. So I still wonder why Khan Academy retired it when it was a perfect fit when in comparison to all of the other sun badges.
The skill mastery required by the Da Vinci badge was part of the old Mission Mastery system that was discontinued on June 30, 2020. Thus, it was no longer possible to even master 500 skills. Khan Academy has never devised badges for the mastery system that has replaced it. If they ever do this, then I would guess that there would either be a new Da Vinci badge or one that rewards a similar accomplishment.
The name may be different from Da Vinci to avoid confusion. (And maybe to honor someone who was female and/or not from European ancestry.)

This makes so much sense now, thanks for clearing that up for me. I guess when Khan Academy discontinued the old Mission Mastery system and used course mastery, and since the Da Vinci badge was part of that system then they also had to retire that badge. But I definitely know that I got over 500 mastered skills. By now I should have around 2 or 3 thousand.
