Custom Avaters

That is a good idea, but what and how would you create it by the avatars? Thanks for your opinion, by the way!

What if they did a course on coding your own avatar. Just throwing out ideas.

Or, It could be like the forums and you could upload your own avatar. Plus, how would you code an avatar, they're literally just PNGs.

Moderation is going to be needed. I don't think people at Khan Academy want to moderate profile pictures when they have more important things to do.

HappyJoshua is correct.  Someone asked about it on another community post, and (if I recall correctly) Support Advocate Evan Lewis said that having custom avatars would require too much moderation (can you imagine the images some people would use??) and therefore Khan Academy is not likely to consider allowing it.

Yes, JaniceHolz is correct! This would pose a lot of safety and privacy concerns, so this is not a likely change.
