I want to add another teacher in my school as a coach to the students' accounts, but when a student logs in and clicks on the coaches tab, the ability to add a coach isn't enabled unless a parent's email is put in. I don't want to put in parent emails, is there a way to bypass this?

I’m afraid we don’t currently offer the ability to add a co-teacher to a class or share a class among multiple teachers. A class is always tied to the Teacher account that created it, and only that account is able to see scores and manage assignments for the class.
One possible workaround would be asking the teacher who created the class to share their account credentials if the co-teaching occurs for a limited period, such as an extended leave of absence, for example.

Hello Jaime! My name is Lisa Krueger and I am a Khan Academy Ambassador teaching in Chicago. At the moment the only way to add another coach for students under 13 is if a parent's email is associated with the student account. The KA developers have been made aware of the limitations of this security feature and are reviewing their policies. Sorry I couldn't give you better news. I will post here when I have more news. How about I want to cancel the "Allow your child to add other coaches" ?
I unchecked the box, but it is checked again when I back to the page. I also unchecked the box in Settings--> Can add other coaches. It is still on when I back. But when my son log in his account, it doesn't show these in his settings. He is over 13 years old.

Hello Carla! As far as I know parents only have access to edit settings for children under 13. For children over 13 they have access to their own settings. May I ask why you want to prevent your child from adding a coach. Perhaps you are not alone in this reasoning and it is a feature Khan Academy developers need to be made aware of. Hi, Lisa, my 13+yrs old is only using Khan as his individual learning. So there is no need to add other coach except parent. Also I don't want other person that we don't known to be the coach of my child. If there is from school teacher would be fine, but so far I don't know any school teacher is awared or interested to be the coach of his/her students. So I want to put this option off until there is a need.

I will add it to the 'wish-list' being compiled for the Khan Academy developers and include giving parents the same rights for their +13 children as their under 13 children. Hello I'm a learning support teacher and I want to see my students progress in a regular education math class. Is there a way that the regular education math teacher can add me to her classes so I can see the data? In the past I have created my own class and had the students enter my class code as another coach. However with the new update I am having difficulty seeing what the other teacher have assigned to each student. Thank you!
Hello Heath & @mschwab! Currently there is no ability to have co-teaching within Khan Academy; however, it has been added to the user wish-list being compiled for the Khan Academy developers. I agree it would be a useful tool as I have several classes that I share with a colleague and it would be easier if the student just used 1 code and all the teachers could see their work. Is there any update in the last two years to add a co-teacher to classes? This is a crucial component that must be added if public school teachers would like to continue to use these services. Please any update would be helpful or are there any "workarounds" that can be used in the meantime to allow my special education teacher access?

Hello, I would like to reiterate the need for SpEd teachers and other support staff to be able to track progress in my Khan Classes. Lisa Krueger, it would be great if you could expedite this process! We are all now in urgent need due to online learning.
With most learning happening online right now it is crucial for the teachers to be able to see their students progress. I am in a classroom with three teachers: a general education teacher and two special education teachers that are trying to track our students' progress. Is Khan Academy able to add this feature of co-teacher yet? This would be such a blessing right now.

All the comments I see about co-teaching are from years ago. Has anything been done with this? I am a independent study charter school teacher. My students have the option to attend workshop classes. I developed workshop classes for our school but am extremely hindered by the face that my facilitators can't see the students work. It would not make any sense for me to share my logins as that is what has been stated as your work around.
