I face the same issue, KA won't load. After clicking reload lots of times, finally I am able to  get my courses and progress and stuff. Still, not everything on the site loads, like the dates I ach...

Yes, but it could become a problem as people could fill up the discussion with irrelevant images.

Or even it would be cool to have a proficiency challenge- see if you can get a certain number of proficient skills in a month. it would motivate people towards learning on khan academy.

Note that even if you are at level 101, you may not get atlas. Maelstrom requires proficiency while atlas requires mastery.

Same thing happened to me! At first, I got no new badges, even though I should have achieved some of them.  Later, I checked again, and achieved them!
