Trick questions are a waste of time for students. You're asking if they know the reverse of the topic. Please look into how you ask questions by reviewing scholarly articles on the topic.

I think you read what you wanted to read, rather than actually taking into account the damage a trick question poses in the learning process. There are hundreds of studies that show trick questions don't encourage the learning process, nor do they prove the student learned the subject.
If the purpose of a test is to gauge knowledge learned through teaching of a course, then the test questions shouldn't have trick questions in them.
