Are Certain Projects Less Likely To Be Evaluated?

That's great that you regularly evaluate projects to help out the community!

To answer your question, the higher level a project is, the less likely it is to be evaluated quickly. This is because there are far more KA users who have completed the lower level projects than the more challenging projects that come later on. Like you and all programmers, they are only able to evaluate up to their level. Since there are so many more programmers at the lower levels, there are likewise many more evaluators for lower level computer programming projects versus higher level projects.

Right now, the evaluation backlog is at 18 days, meaning that students have to wait around 18 days for their projects to be evaluated. The backlog constantly changes as new students submit projects and experienced evaluators check them off, but hopefully, with lots of help from the Khan Academy community, it can be eliminated or brought down to only a couple of days.

Thank you! All my projects have been evaluated since this post in a much more timely manner, and I try to evaluate 5-10 projects each day.

Today I was evaluating projects that say they were updated "3 Years Ago". This seems like it's probably a glitch in the text but that is a little concerning.

Yes, that happens every once in a while. Whenever a user deletes their account, all of their previous evaluations are also deleted and dumped back into the queue.

This is very unfortunate because it means that we then have to make our way through however many evaluations that user completed and re-evaluate all of them before we can get back to the projects currently submitted.
