Thank You for the Courage, Ambition & Confidence

Dear Khan Academy,

   I wanted to thank you all for your hard work & dedication to the students & teachers of Khan Academy. I happened upon the Khan Academy while trying to remember phases of Mitosis. Now, I am currently taking, and enjoying, many courses & have found a marked improvement in my memory & speech.

   A few years ago, I experienced Uremic Encephalopathy Syndrome & Traumatic Rhabdomyolysis. This left me unable to ambulate & speak. I was making great progress in intensive inpatient Physical, Occupational & Speech Therapy and became self-reliant, once more. However, I still struggle with cognitive impairment & expressive aphasia.

   Though I have only begun, I feel more optimistic as my skills grow each day with every lesson learned. I can't thank you all (teachers, staff, support team) enough for giving me the ambition, courage & confidence to continue my lifelong education with the knowledge that- I can learn anything!
