After some thought, I think I see what you are talking about. I know that based on previous tests, the CollegeBoard reports what your projected score for the next test is, but I certainly think a similar feature unique to Khan Academy would be wonderful and more helpful. When I think of the SAT, I think about how one needs to consistently practice and prepare for the exam by adhering to some sort of schedule. Maybe a "projected score" feature would help users feel more motivated to start a schedule, continue on it, and even intensify it in order to strengthen their own skills. If something popped up and informed me that if I complete a certain problem set or two and I'd increase my projected score (maybe a range), I'd be more motivated to put in some more effort and push forward. I think learners would benefit from some sort of way to help them gauge their real-time progress and get that extra juice to keep going on this incredibly rigorous journey. This would definitely be something to seriously consider.
