Do I need to take the SAT Test?

I came on here to learn about maths onwards like fractions, decimals, percentage algebra onwards I just learned about algebra and to understand it I understand what trigometry, algebra and calculus is but I haven`t even started to practice algebra etc sums yet can I hold out the tests untill I am ready?
