Starting over

Hi Richard, currently there is no way of deleting progress on Khan Academy. This is a common feature request, but finding safe way to do this (to prevent malicious progress deletion if a student leaves the workplace without logging out, for instance) is going to take some though. Just hiding the option behind a password is not good enough because some teachers will use the same password for a group of students to make it easier to remember.
There are three workarounds, which all have their disadvantages.
1) You can become your own coach and recommend all the exercises to yourself again. The exercises will show up as mastered, but you will still be asked to do the exercises.
2) You can deliberately get the questions wrong when they are offered in a mastery challenge. This takes a lot of time if you need to clear an entire mission!
3) You can create a child account under your own account and use it for practice.
I hope you'll be able to use one of these ideas.

I designed a page I gave lot of effort on it. But mistakenly I click start over button and I can't bring it back. I need that.
Hi Fahim,
unfortunately yours is a different problem. Khan Academy does not keep older versions of user created programs in the database. Unless you happen to find a copy in another browser, or have copied your code to a .txt file your work is lost. I learned that hard way that the .txt files are a must. Well, it's good practice to get into the habit of saving.
You can vote up a request to retrieve the last version, and add that you want to be able to undo deletes: https://khanacademy.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/201838580-Auto-backup-for-programs
I really need to start over in khan! can anyone help?? pls??
Hi, Alona!
I’m thrilled to know that you’d like to have another go at our content!
Our learning methodology always leans towards putting more effort towards achieving mastery of the subject and I can see you’re on the right path towards it.
That said, Khan Academy currently offers no way to delete progress once it’s registered on the account, and this is actually the intended to avoid scenarios in which users could lose actual progress due to misuse or malfunction of any kind.
So, even if you’ve practiced that subject before, you can always redo any exercises you’ve completed and watch any videos again, or simply continue from where you’ve left, whatever works best for you!
Now, if you'd really like to start from scratch, you can always create a new account. Just note that badges, points, and your streak would not transfer from one account to another since there’s no way to merge accounts or share progress between them.
If you prefer to keep your old account as it is, there’s another more laborious method for losing mastery: getting answers deliberately wrong. This is not recommended since it will not be a true reflection of your learning path. Besides, it might take a long time if you have mastered many skills.
