Relate fraction division to fraction multiplication
I'm having a hard time understanding which number is the total, which number is the number of groups and which number is the size of the groups in fractional division / multiplication. For example, w=5÷1/5, convert to multiplication. I don't really know where to start, so I look at the hints and it just tells me that the total is 5, the group number is w and the size of groups is 1/5. It doesn't tell me how to understand which is which. The accompanying video doesn't help much and the diagram doesn't help with my specific problem I find. Is this something that I should know intuitively, based on knowledge of how division works? I can't seem to find a pattern between the practice questions either. If anyone can help me with this I'd greatly appreciate it, thank you.
