New digital SAT content
Hi,
When can one have New digital SAT content?
Hello everyone!
We’re happy to announce that, as of October 18th, Khan Academy provides courses that specifically prepare students for the new digital SAT. Our team of reading, writing, and math experts has worked with College Board to create articles, videos, and thousands of official practice questions (complete with explanations) to help you prepare for test day. To explore our new digital SAT course materials, visit Khan Academy’s Official Digital SAT Prep.
As a reminder, the transition to the digital version of the SAT will occur gradually over the next two years. Below are some details about this transition, and guidance on how you should study for the test you will be taking:
To see more detailed information on the digital SAT scoring, format, and day-of test questions, go to College Board’s site.
Thank you and best of luck to you on your SAT preparation!
All the best,

Hi! Thanks for this very timely question! :-)))
We’re super excited about all the ways we’ll be able to support you all as you make the transition to the new SAT format!
We’re working with College Board to synchronize the release of our first set of practice resources later this fall.
International students will take the SAT digitally starting in early 2023; students in the US will start taking it digitally in early 2024.
Reading and Writing: The first set of content will include over 100 real practice questions in the new format for the Reading and Writing section, along with explanations and instructional videos and articles about how to approach them.
Math: Since the questions on the digital SAT’s Math section aren’t changing all that much from what you find on the current test, we’ll have a lot more content for digital SAT math practice—over 1000 math practice questions in a mastery-enabled course, organized by difficulty level. These are mostly the same math practice questions as you’ll find on Official SAT Practice right now, so if you’re eager to start practicing for the digital SAT now, I’d recommend focusing on improving your math score by digging in at khanacademy.org/mission/sat.
Practice test review: Later this fall, you’ll be able to take full-length digital SAT practice tests right on College Board’s digital assessment app where you’ll eventually take the test (officially starting early 2023 outside the US and starting early 2024 if you’re in the US).
After taking a practice test at College Board, you’ll be able to see your results and review the questions. Eventually, you’ll also be given an option to head over to Khan Academy for more practice test review. We’re writing handy explanations jam-packed with tips and insights about how to approach each type of question on the practice tests, linked to articles and videos to help you boost your score and be most efficient with your study time.
Good luck out there - you've got this, and we've got your back!
Warmly,
Dave

I understand that the new tests begin in 2023 and 2024, but are you going to put out some practice tests before this? My grandsons are extremely anxious about the change. They saw a small sample on the College Board website and felt very uncomfortable. They were not willing to explain why, but I really need some practice tests as soon as possible. Please, please, please. Thank you.
