Hi,

Is there any way I can prevent reading and writing passages that I have already done from showing up again? Appreciate the help!

Sadly, not really. Repeating passages just means that there's a limited number of total passages, and you happened to receive the same one twice as a result. As Khan works to add more, this issue will be less prevalent.
