Fonts (Not Really Working)

Hello Khan Academy! I just happened to find out that some fonts on Khan Academy don't work. What I mean is that whenever I try doing fonts like "monospace" on coding, it doesn't work. Only a few fonts work and I can list them out for you: "papyrus", "kristen itc", lucida console, castellar, gigi, gabriola, and maybe more. I want more fonts to work and I love decorating stuff. Without fonts, no decorating! I'm pretty upset with this problem and I want to have a better Khan Academy...

I know it's probably not Khan Academy's fault about the fonts, but if you can fix it... thanks so much! That's all I want, more fonts! I really love Khan Academy and have been staying for more than a month. Khan Academy is a great resource to learn about coding, math, and more... but the fonts are way off. I hope you listen to my problem and have a fantastic and most wonderful day! :)

I would suggest that you check that your device actually has this font installed-- if it does not then you would probably want to install it and then try again. If it doesn't have it installed then I'm not really sure. You should also make sure you've spelled it correctly. Remember, Google Fonts don't work in Khan Academy.

Hi Almond,

The coding projects use fonts available on your local computer, so like SP said, the font needs to be installed on your device in order for you to be able to use it. Likewise, if you select a font that other users do not have on their own devices, they will see a generic font instead.

Additionally, if you're using the webpage projects (HTML/CSS), you can use Google Fonts to import fonts to your project. This will then make the font available for all users that access your project. Unfortunately, due to the way the projects are embedded, this is only available in the Webpage projects and not the JavaScript projects.
