Best way to assign lessons for course mastery

Hello, I am a homeschooling parent. We just started using khan as our main math curriculum instead of popping in when extra support was needed. I have set course pastry goals for my children. What is the best way to assign lessons to support their mastery goals? I see the progress data, but is there an easy way from there to assign lessons where they need them? Or is it best to just let them work through the course on their end? I love that I can see what skills are solid, but I'm unsure how to structure things from there.

Being that you just started using Khan Academy as a curriculum, I would suggest assigning exercises within a domain instead of the Course Mastery. It will allow your children to work through the benchmarks that you choose and you can receive detailed reports of their progress and see areas where they may need further support There are so many variables involved in home instruction so using Khan to benefit your children in the best way would depend on your preferences. I would love to help out in any way.

Hi, great to find this page. I have a similar question although I'm teaching a 3/4 split. Some students are performing at Gr. 1, while others may be Gr. 4, I don't exactly know yet. I took over the class six weeks ago and have been using KA for about 3 weeks.

The kids have been doing Early Math Review.

I'm concerned they don't all need to do, how can I know if I should be giving the Gr.4's more, and if so, or when, how would I know what to give them?

Related to this, what happens when they finished EMR?
