Feature Request: New High-Tier Avatars (5 Lakh / 10 Lakh Points) + Indian Regional Styles! 🇮🇳✨
Right now, the highest energy point milestone to unlock a new avatar on Khan Academy is capped at 250,000 energy points (2.5 lakh points). Once you cross this threshold, there are no more avatars left to work toward! Many dedicated students have reached 500,000 (5 lakh) or even over 1,000,000 (10 lakh) points, but the sense of progression stops completely.
To give long-term learners a brand new goal, I propose adding higher-tier avatars for these major milestones! Since the community in India is growing so fast, it would be the perfect opportunity to design these elite milestone avatars around Indian culture, wildlife, and heritage.
Here are a few exciting concepts for the new high-tier milestones:
- 5 Lakh (500,000 Points) Tier - "The Bengal Apex": A fierce, evolving Bengal Tiger avatar that updates its look as you master complex course units.
- 7.5 Lakh (750,000 Points) Tier - "The Heritage Monarch": Rarest badges and avatars shaped like historic monuments (like a minimalist Taj Mahal or India Gate insignia).
- 10 Lakh (1,000,000 Points) Tier - "The Cosmic Voyager": A futuristic avatar themed around space exploration (celebrating milestones like ISRO's Chandrayaan missions), completely reserved for the most dedicated elite learners.
Adding country-specific, high-tier avatars would give advanced students an incredible reason to keep pushing the boundaries of their knowledge and learning.
