It would be great to get dark mode without adding extra applications or expanding the attack surface on our devices and computers.

Hi @Jason Powel, are you part of a class? If so, you should be able to open settings using the sidebar and change the appearance to dark. If you are just a learner, unfortunately I don’t think there is dark mode for that. Hope khan academy can add one. - 05.09.26

That's no bueno. I'm just a regular old learner reviewing classes and concepts. Dark mode is so helpful for a lot of us out here. It's irrational to argue with Khan Academy's value, but I hope the devs decide that dark mode is a good addition sooner rather than later.

Hundreds of people have been requesting this feature for YEARS and KA has never added it. Instead, they recommend using the "Dark Reader" browser extension.

Yeah, instead of making a dark mode, they made Khan Academy Reimagined, which seems to be universally hated.

Glad I don't have Reimagined upon login! I am okay with using light mode. Light never hurts me.
