I noticed that there is middle school content aligned to Illustrative Mathematics. We have been trying to implement Illustrative Mathematics in our high school Integrated Math 1-3 courses this year. I use the Khan Academy material with my students as a supplement and would love if it was aligned to our Illustrative Mathematics curriculum as well. Thanks.

As we grow and expand, we’re continuing to add new content to offer a better education at Khan Academy. Investing more heavily in the content team is actually one of our major initiatives.

I also am using illustrative math and khan academy in high school. I teach algebra 1 and 2 at a school where 85% of students are 2+ grade levels behind. I love having access to materials at all grade levels. And I love combining im’s conceptual learning activities and ka’s skills learning activities. I align the two as best as I can but, especially for weaker students, my less than perfect alignment is a significant obstacle. Is anyone else out there in teacher land trying to integrate IM and KA for Alg 1 and 2, and would you like to collaborate?
