I tried doing the unit test for the Functions chapter In Algebra I but I had to redo the test many times because I always got one wrong and I want to always see 100%. after finally getting it all correct, I am now missing 40 points from my course knowledge or mastery. Currently, I have 2160/2200 points. Is this because I redid the test too many times or is this a glitch?
Hi Corey,
If you're still missing points, then one of the skills that you got correct was not moved up to the "Mastered" level after you finished the Unit Test. In order to reach the Mastered level on a skill, you must get a Proficient skill correct on the Unit Test.
So if you missed that question on a previous attempt, the skill would have moved down to the Familiar level. Then, when you correctly answered it on the next attempt, the skill moved up to Proficient, not Mastered, since only an already Proficient skill can move to Mastered after doing a Unit Test.
