Khan academy has always been know to bring helpful free courses to learners. I have been grateful for that, but when they decided to retire some of the sources such as ap world history and mcat I was a bit annoyed. I tried my best to understand because of the pandemic and the resulting budget cut. After the five million donation to khan academy by Elon Musk isn't there a possibly of bringing back the necessary courses? Unless the money has been used for other things? WE CAN'T JUST USE THE VIDEOS ON YOUTUBE.

Another Thing

I see more effort being put in the science and math sections compared to the arts and humanities sections. I see so many "beta" courses in the science department meanwhile I also want support for english and history.

The MCAT Test Prep section is still available. You can find it by searching "MCAT" on Khan Academy and then clicking the first result, "MCAT | Test prep | Khan Academy."

Course content on Khan Academy is structured by demand and available resources. The purpose of removing content was to allow the team at Khan Academy to prioritize courses that see the most use from learners. Prioritization means providing the highest quality experience on average for users who visit the site. As conditions change, you will see new content added to the site which will hopefully better suit your needs.

Until then, please feel free to utilize all the resources currently available on the website. If you need access to material not available on Khan Academy, there are other resources that can continue to support you during your learning journey in conjunction with KA.

The large donation from Elon Musk to KA was highly appreciated, but KA had been operating at a deficit to manage the surge in demand seen during COVID-19. Thus, the donation is a step in the right direction, and know that everyone at KA is committed to offering you the best learning experience they can at every step along the way.

There is the possibility that that the MCAT course material may stay around. As of today, 7/9/21, there's a message that they [KA] are looking into keeping the course intact. Let's hope that they do.
