Adjust setting preferences/settings (speed, CC)

Hi Khan Academy,

Can you please make it easy to understand global settings or preferences better. On every video, I want to watch all my videos on double speed. But for every video, I have to go to the bottom, click on double speed and then watch my video. This becomes very annoying when I am grinding (watching multiple videos in several hours). If possible, can you please make a preference or global setting such that all videos are universally played with the same preferences. I also do not want the CC which is always on and blocks the content of the video. For every video, I have to click the CC Button to make sure that the CC is gone, so that I can see what Sal and his teachers are explaining. Thank you so much! Keep up the great work!
