An Unorthodox Approach to Help With Translations

I would like to hire translators to expedite the translation of Khan Academy's videos to the most widely spoken languages, focusing on mathematics and natural sciences.

Basically, I would like Khan Academy to assign videos for translation, and then I would look and hire a sufficiently qualified translator (according to KA standards), send KA the finished translation, and if accepted , I will pay the translator the agreed-upon fee out of my own pocket.

Obviously I would most likely be able to afford only translations of about 5-10 videos a month on my own, but possibly, after delivering results, I might be able to raise funds to increase the translation output. (this goes without saying - with complete transparency of incoming and outgoing funds)

*I've tried to submit the regular 'Apply to be a Translator' form, but I just got an auto email response that there is no advocate for my native language currently...
