Coaching/Tutoring for Volunteer and Service Hours

Hi Blue-Ice,

I agree that Khan Academy should allow students to coach and tutor others. I think that this would help students developed teaching skills, and provide a variety of different skills throughout Khan Academy. I believe that this feature would be both helpful, academic, and beneficial for both learners and teachers.

i am a (old)student who decided to get back to study. I do lack a lot of knowledge and at the moment i am having hard time follow up all the University lectures. I am really confused about sooooo many things 🤣

I am sorry Cristian, but I am a high schooler looking for middle to younger students to tutor.  If you are in college, you should look for professional help.  Sorry. :(

Would it be acceptable to have a column in the Khan Academy community where users can post for a tutor or a coach? They can create a post containing their grade or estimated age (ex. 8 to 10 or <18) and the subject. (I understand that some users want to be anonymous, but the estimated age will prevent the discomfort of having a tutor younger than the user.) The user and the considered tutor can exchange email addresses in the comments. When the user has found the tutor/coach they desire, they can delete the post.
I would appreciate it if someone could say yes or no to this proposal. Thank you.

It seems like you already got this planned out. Yeah, it would be more reasonable to have college students be tutored by professionals rather than someone who isn't attending college. I do agree with this proposal and it makes valid points and reasonings.
