I have another way of solving percent problems.
For me it's easier:
how to find out how much 30 percent of 1060 is:
The first thing I do is to find out how much one percent of 1060 is.
In order to do that you just divide 1060 : 100 = 10.6
Now I want to find how much 30 percent is.
(10.6 times 30 = 318)
30% = 318.
In order to find 70% of 1060, you need to subtract
30% (318) from 1060.
(1060–318 = 742)
I am surprised about how much space it took me to write this down.
On the paper it takes just 30 sec.
