JS - Strange OhNoes Guy Message: "Cannot read property 'code' of undefined"

I was trying to make a countdown to a day, but I wasn't sure what day to choose. I randomly selected February 16, but I am hoping to (someday) be able to make it a user-chosen day. (Currently it is still in its "one and only day" phase.)

It looks like your issue is on line 148 with key.code. The variable key.code property holds the key that was last pressed, so when the program first loads it is trying to read a variable that does not exist, since a key has not yet been pressed.

Depending on what exactly you are trying to do, you could replace that condition with (keyIsPressed && key.code === 42) to first check if a key is currently being pressed before trying to read the code property. Or, you could use the keyPressed function to update a flag variable that checks whether or not a key has been pressed since the program has loaded.
