Could use more "text book" videos.

I've worked through Geometry, Algebra I and Algebra II on my way to Pre-Calculus and Calculus, and I've noticed that the one weakness of Khan Academy is the lack of a text book. I basically had to write my own, deducing the needed principles, rules or problem-solving steps. Several times I printed summary content from other Websites.

People like me would benefit from more "videos" that are text-only and clearly state the step-by-step mechanics of working certain problems, provide formulas or list rules.

I discovered that the best guides are buried in the Hints sections, which I often transcribed verbatim.

Otherwise, I think Khan Academy is fantastic.

Transcribing your own notes from the "Hints" segment is a great idea!

To clarify, Khan Academy has more videos than textbooks because it is generally used as a sort of accessory to school. It is generally used as a study tool for struggling students who have their own textbooks at home. If you are looking to learn math with a textbook, I recommend purchasing one from a bookstore and using Khan Academy videos as a study/learning aid.

I admire your motivation to extend your learning after you have already finished school. And I hope my answer helped!

Sometimes, various concepts will have what Khan Academy calls articles. But they haven't made an easy way to print or do copy and paste to a document on a user's word processing system. probably for copyright reasons. Doing a screen print may be a way to handle this.
