I love the Peer Review feature on the KA programming community and i'm really upset that its being removed. It's really helpful for learning how to code and finding errors/better learning how what you're taught works- especially when you don't recognize the errors.

I understand why KA is removing this feature, but was hoping that in the future KA might be able to bring it back after they finish their changes that are causing them to need to do this.

Hello there,

KA is removing the peer review feature because of the massive change they're making to the website and its code. This post here better explains the situation.

As for peer review returning, as far as I know, it will return eventually. I'm not sure if it will be the same or if things about it will change, but it should be making its return sometime in the future.

I think the peer review feature is great - but not for completion of a course. The problem with peer reviews allowing you to complete a course is when you get backlogged by hundreds, thousands, or even tens of thousands of projects, those people may never - and I mean never - get recognition and credit for their work. I will post about an alternative implementation that won't cause backlog like the current system.
