Making Mastery Easier and Super-motivating
Hi Khan Academy Feature Requests and General Site Feedback Team,
Could you set up tests in two parts to super-facilitate mastery of your academic material?
I have one suggestion on how to go about doing this: Break up the test or set of mastery questions into two sets.
The First Set should have examples to facilitate the learner getting a grip on the concept like a parent helping their child ride a bike till they are comfortable leaving them on their own.
As for the Second Set, it should be and must be taken only after completion of the First Set. This set would comprise just questions (basically what you have currently); no examples. As the metaphor goes, the child is now comfortable attempting longer rides on their own till memory of ever being aided becomes a cold distant non-existent memory (complete mastery).
Thanks, Kula.
