I have had students that understand a question, but because of the complexity of certain interfaces, have trouble responding correctly. I would love to have the ability to grant them credit for an exercise, a quiz or test question they know is correct and got wrong, solely based on an inability to enter the answer correctly the first time.

Thanks for writing in with your idea! We are always working to add features that improve our site, and we love getting input from our community.
While we wish we could implement all of our users' requests, we need to make difficult decisions about which features and requests are aligned with our goals at the time.
As our needs and resources change, it’s possible that we may be able to revisit this issue at a later date, but I can’t guarantee that we’ll be able to do so, or provide a timeline for when that might happen.
