Hi pwhitehurst,
Yes, it is possible. You can level up without taking the diagnostics! Unlike LSAT and Praxis, SAT does let you practice without completing the diagnostics for Math and Reading & Writing.
You can choose any skill from the skills breakdown and level up from there.
