By not providing coaches/tutors to all students Khan Academy does not deliver on your mission statement to provide a free world class education for anyone anywhere. I saw your response to this commonly asked question here, but I think you should reconsider especially during the Covid pandemic. The reason for this is that students that come from affluent backgrounds are advantaged over those with less affluent backgrounds due to the lack of support or oversight at home. By adding this feature you could close this gap and allow tutors or coaches to be the support needed for students. This feature also aligns with Sal Khans goal to make technology that allows humans to be human during the pandemic where physical experience/learning is limited or nonexistent by allowing safe remote human interaction and learning. Finally this feature could also be used for peer to peer tutoring/coaching to allow peers to support one another and fill in gaps for each other remotely.
