Whitelist certain external link sites in comments
There's a few sites that are pretty normal to link in a programming context. GitHub, Mozilla Docs, w3schools, and Stack Overflow are the big ones. I was surprised to find my link to a Mozilla docs page hidden a couple weeks ago when I answered a question that someone asked about browser compatibility for a certain CSS feature. KA itself provides links to Mozilla in the Documentation tab of every program, so it seems silly to not automatically allow those links from users (you can't claim dissociation when the site is officially linked by staff anyway).
I understand that moderators have to manually approve posts containing links, but it seems like a waste of time for sites that every programmer on KA should be referencing on their own. It's common practice to share links like "github [dot] com/Khan/live-editor/issues" to avoid the auto filter, which I'd say is a design flaw with the site. Whitelisting a few approved domains would fix that issue and make the site feel more welcoming for more advanced programmers that know how to use all their resources.
