Teachers can find their class code after they create a class. The code is visible in the Students tab:
One thing to note is that the class code is not visible to teachers that use Clever Library.
The reason for this is that information received from your school district’s SIS flows to Clever, then to Khan Academy, but not the other way around. New students should always be added to your district or schools’ SIS and you should not take any additional action in Khan Academy to add new students to the class.
If you're a teacher and would like more information on how to get started with Khan Academy in the Clever Library, please refer to this article.
I'd like to clarify that Khan Academy does not provide learners with coaches. Our 13+ learners can access the discussion forums under each video to ask questions.
You can also ask a teacher, parent, siblings, relatives, or a tutor to help you out. If you would like a coach, you can find some ideas for good places to find coaches here.

The class code for a class can be found on the class page, under the 'students' tab:
Class codes are typically a mix of uppercase letters and numbers, but it does appear that if you input the letters in as lowercase the student will still get added to the class.

Hm, that's odd -- that usually happens when the class code is not put in correctly. It may help to have your students join with the link instead (which can be found by clicking 'Share class code' listed above the class code).
If this doesn't add them to your class, or if they are still getting that message, could you please submit a support ticket? This will the support team to investigate and help resolve the problem.

Your class code should be in the students section in the upper right corner. If you are not seeing it, could you provide me with a screenshot of what your screen looks like when you are on the student's tab?
Edit: You may need to select a class (or create one) and then go to the student tab on that specific class - not the students tab on the teacher dashboard.
