Update: New Help Center design!

The Khan Academy Help Center has a new look! 👀

We've updated the Help Center and Support Community to better reflect the current style of Khan Academy and its modern visual language. The type, buttons, illustrations, interactions, and overall layout now match the look and feel that you're probably already familiar with from khanacademy.org. In total, the design team updated 17 page types, in addition to fixing several bugs and usability issues.

Here's some before and after shots to give you a better sense of how much has changed:

Our goal for this project was to make all of our help pages feel much more cohesive with the rest of Khan Academy. Take a look around and let us know what you think!

wow!!! this is better, but looks a bit complicated. I prefer this than the last design👍✔!

One thing I LOVE about this change is that the up and down vote arrows are shown in color if I have already voted on a post. Before, if I voted in the same direction a second time, it canceled the vote I made earlier. While it still cancels the vote, which I suspect is enforced on the system by the vendor of this support community product, at least I can see ahead of time if I have already voted and not, instead, see the vote count go down.

Personally, I think that the vendor (or Khan Academy, if this is in its control) should handle multiple votes in a more user-friendly way, like popping up a message saying something like, "You have already upvoted [or downvoted] this post. Do you want to change it?" If the answer is no, it just stays what it was.
