Problem with showing my whole class list when assigning a unit to some students

Thanks for posting. You can visit the teacher dashboard and click on the blue "Assign" button to bring up a panel that prompts you to select which students you'd like to assign the unit to. Once that panel pops up, it should be possible to view and select/unselect every student in that class (you might need to scroll down further to see the full list).

Once you click the blue "Assign" button, the panel below should open and allow you to access the full list of students on your roster by scrolling down to reveal the full drop-down list. A gif example is below.

(Sometimes it's necessary to click on the page to move the scroll bar without clicking it.)

(I see what you mean with the larger scroller bar disappearing when you try to interact with it; I'll let our team know about the bug so they can fix it.)
