Update: New volunteer phone line to help teachers and parents get started on Khan Academy

Hello everyone!

While the Support Community is a great resource for many, we wanted to share another option that’s recently opened up for parents or guardians and teachers who’d like to speak to someone live about getting started with Khan Academy.

Khan Academy has a partnership with NWEA (another education organization), and some of their employees have graciously volunteered their time to help people out during this time.  However, these volunteers are not Khan Academy support experts, and they don’t have access to support tools.  That said, they do have some experience using Khan Academy and can help people find answers to their questions, or walk them through potentially confusing situations.

Monday - Thursday: anytime

Friday: 4am - 5pm PDT

Sunday: 5pm - midnight PDT

This is a temporary phone line to get people started, and right now NWEA doesn’t have plans for it to be open past May.

The Support Community will continue to be here to help you as well, so this is just another avenue for help if you’d like to use it.
