Hi all,
I have some great news to share with you!
Based on feedback that you and other teachers shared with our team, Khan Academy has just launched a new feature that will allow you to edit multiple assignments at once! We know that things are constantly changing in the classroom, and we wanted to make it easier for you to adjust course when you need to!
In addition to that feature, we’ve added the ability to schedule assignments for a future date and time. We hope you will enjoy these new features, and we welcome any feedback you have about them.
Most importantly, we want to thank you for taking the time to share your feedback to help make Khan Academy a better learning resource for everyone. We take all feedback to heart and appreciate you sharing your ideas with us.
If it’s been a while, and you need a refresher on using Khan Academy, I highly recommend our course, Khan for Educators. This is a dedicated course for teachers getting started at Khan Academy. It’s composed of seven lessons that explore everything from getting started to classroom implementation and diving deep into Khan Academy’s teacher reports.
Thank you so much for helping us improve Khan Academy!

following I have the same question. I need to plan at week in advance and would like to know how. Instead i am posting in google classroom but still have to go back to Khan academy to official assign the lesson on the date needed.

Exactly! I would love the ability to schedule them as I plan.

Hi Jade,
Thanks for the feedback! This is definitely a feature request that's on our radar, but unfortunately I don't have a timeline for when something like this might be implemented.
In the meantime, it is possible to Save assignments on Khan Academy without actually posting them. While you can't schedule them to post at a specific time, you can create the assignments in advance and then post them for students to see when you're ready.
You could also post all of the KA assignments early, and then instruct students to only use the assignments list on Google Classroom, where you could then schedule assignments to post that contain links to the assigned KA content.
I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any additional questions!

I learned this the hard way. I had assigned khan assignments by the schedule feature of google classroom. A couple of students started and completed quiz assignments before I was able to assign them through Khan. On my assignment tab, their scores were not added to the manage/ score section. Is there a way to sync this to add their scores. I can see they did it in the activity overview section?

Hi athain,
If the students completed the quiz before you assigned it, there is unfortunately not a way to import their past scores into the assignment. They would have to re-do the quiz in order for their score to show up in your assignment report.
You can, however, view their quiz score from the Activity Overview tab if you click on the individual student's name. While you won't be able to view a detailed assignment report for their quiz attempt, you can at least view their overall score.

Thank you! I thought as much but it never hurts to ask.
Have a great day! -
I too would love the option to schedule assignments to post (similar to Google Classroom). This would really help some students with executive functioning concerns, so we can help chunk the week's work into smaller more manageable pieces.

I noticed these comments were all 5 months ago. Has there been an update on this? Is scheduling an option? Is khan academy looking into making scheduling assignments an option?
-
I would really love this option as well! I would use Khan Academy so much more if this were available!
-
Yes! This would be an awesome addition. Thank you for all that Khan Academy does already though too!

I just wanted to follow-up on this suggestion. I was wondering if any progress has been made to schedule assignments so that students won't get an email notification before I actually want them to have access to the assignment.
