Math Typing Issue
How do you enter an exponent that is a fraction into the answer slot? I had the right answer but I didn't know how to type it, and unfortunately that means that I entered the wrong thing.
For example, this is my problem:
Hi, Noah!
For you to type a fractional exponent, please follow these steps:
1. For the exponent, use the caret (^) on your keyboard. You can also use the exponent button found on the special-key pad.
2. As the exponent is a fraction, you'll have to enter it between parentheses (( )) using your keyboard.
3. For the fraction, use the slash (/) on your keyboard or use the fraction button found on the special-key pad.
I hope this helps! Thank you for being a part of Khan Academy!
