🍁 ❄️ Community Update: July 2019 Programming Contest Winners (Seasons)! ☔️ ⛱
"Hot" off the press! Our Challenge Council just wrapped up selecting July's Computer Science contest winners, and without further ado, here they are! Working under the theme of "seasons," some entries showed the author's favorite season, while others explained the science behind seasonal changes. One of our winners even showed what earthly seasons look like from outer space!
Below are the nine winning entries (along with the judging rationale), chosen from a total of 90 submissions! Congratulations to everyone for their creativity, effort, and enthusiasm! :) 🎉 🙌🏼
Remember, you never lose -- you only win or learn! 💪🏼

Why we chose this program:
This is a really interesting program that does a great job of depicting the seasons from space. The "apparent" motion of the sun was interesting but makes sense given the camera position. The season transitions handled both hemispheres as well as showing the progression of vernal equinox to summer solstice to autumnal equinox to winter solstice, etc. Very well done!
