It is a run-on sentence? Isn't it?
While they are fierce rivals when playing on opposite sides of the net.
Hi minsui0423,
This sentence doesn't seem like a run-on sentence to me, but it could be a fragment of one. It looks like it is maybe unfinished. Examples of complete sentences using parts of this fragment would be, "While they are fierce rivals when playing on opposite sides of the net, Olivia and Amy have come to be good friends", or "Olivia and Amy get along fine during school hours, but they are fierce rivals when playing on opposite sides of the net". If you want more information on fragments and run-ons, you can find Khan Academy's lessons on them here.
Hope this could help! If you have any more questions, please let me know :)

Hello, I have some trouble in grammar, I was looking for a link where I can find some coaches to guide me for some time. Do you know where could it be a similar option to identify some classes that could add me for some period of time. Thank you for your time.
Hi Luis,
As far as I'm aware, Khan Academy doesn't really have a feature to find coaches and classes for you. You can be added to a class if your teacher makes one, but other than that, there's not really a good way to be added to a class if you're independent learner at this time.
However, if you are over 13, you can make your own class for yourself to assign content with due dates. This might be helpful if you are worried you won't stick with the subject, or feel that due dates will help you stay on track. To do this, first go to your name at the top of the screen and click "Teacher dashboard". From there, it will ask you some questions, like what classes you are teaching. You can select Grammar (under Arts and Humanities), and any other classes you would like to assign yourself content, too. Once you've answered the questions and possibly taken a tour of the class, you can adjust the settings, and you should be able to assign content to your class after you've added a course (which in your case, you would want to add Grammar). After you're happy with your settings, in your class, you should see a "class code" near the top right. From there, go to your profile, and click the coaches tab. Where is says, "Join a class", you can enter that code, and you should get a notification that you've joined your class.
Hope this helps! If you have any more questions about this, please let me know :)
