Where did the Pixar in a box lessons go?
Why canˋt I access these lessons anymore? not on the web and not in the app.
They are really good and were the main reason I used and supported the Khan Academy when I found it.
Cheers
Hi Filip,
The Pixar in a Box lessons are still here, thankfully! When you click on the courses drop-down menu, it is under Computing, and is labeled Computer Animation. You can also find it at this link: https://www.khanacademy.org/partner-content/pixar
Have a good day,

Thanks for the very fast answer! :) Glad they are still there. 👍 Happy to be part of this awesome platform.
Kind regards,
Filip
No problem, glad I could help!
In the iPad app, you can find it as follows:
1. On the home or front or whatever you call it page, scroll down to Browse Khan Academy. (It is the last section.)
2. Click on Partner content. It is currently in the second row of icons if you are looking at the screen in either landscape or portrait orientation on an iPad. I don't know what row it would be on the smaller screen of an iPhone.
3. You should then find Pixar in a Box. In landscape mode, it is currently the last one on the right in the 3rd row. In portrait mode, it is currently the second one in from the right in the 4th row. Again, I don't know where it would be on an iPhone screen.
In the Android phone app, you can find it as follows:
1. On the home/front/whatever page, scroll down to Browse Khan Academy. (It is also the last section here.)
2. Click on Partner content, which is the third from last one shown in portrait orientation and probably is also in landscape orientation. I don't know where it would be on an Android tablet.
3. Scroll down until you find Pixar in a Box. It is in the 2nd screenful of names in landscape orientation. Again, I don't know where it would be on an Android tablet.
The strange thing for me is that in the iPad app I cannot see more than these 4 categories.. 🤔
Check it out! Do you see something else on that page?
Hmm... try checking under "Informationstechnik".
It looks like you are using a language other than English, plus you may also be registered in a location other than the United States. Some of the courses here are not available in all languages and/or in countries other than the U.S. It could be a licensing issue. If you formerly had Pixar in a Box but don't have it any more, it could be that licensing rights in your country have expired.
As for changing your settings to show your country as the U.S. and/or your language as English, I am not knowledgeable on this matter. I also don't know if this needs to be set in your iPad universal settings, your iPad Khan Academy settings, or on the Khan Academy web site. I suggest that you use Report a Problem at the top of this support page and ask them how to do it.
@Allison, it’s not under “Informationstechnik”, Thanks anyway.
@Regina, I thought that too but the other courses are English too, so I guess the language is not the issue, but the location(Europe) could be.
I did find the courses on my laptop though. So that solved the problem for me. But I will Report a problem if you think I should. Just hope that it won’t take away that course for me on my laptop too, will it? I really want to go through all of the Pixar courses, but I can’t change my location.. ;)
It must have something to do with your location or language though, because this is what I see:
The Pixar in a Box content is under the Partner content then.
That's probably the best thing to do at this point, if you are still looking for it on your iPad. The support tickets can be found here. They're handled by Khan Academy staff, so if you're comfortable sharing your country on the support ticket, it might help them when trying to figure out your issue. If you don't really want to bother with it at this point, I can share it the issue on my end, just in case this is an issue with other users, and then share my findings with you.
I got it. Just posted a ticket with their support. I'll post here what they'll say about it.
Cheers
Sounds good, I hope it all works out :)
You guys were right earlier! 😳 It was the language. The support team advised me to switch it back to English and voilà all the courses are displayed again. Sorry I didn't try it when you told me, 😣 I thought since the courses were still in English this would not make any difference.
Anyway, it's solved. Just switch the device language to English and everything's displayed again.
Thank you!
Glad to hear it all worked out :)
