Is the math courses are structured as the way to be study from start top to bottom in order?
A little bit of background first, I barely studied math at high school before since I majored in Art since my teenage. But I decided to study computer programming and have begun studying math for that.
While I was studying "Statistics and probability", at "Poisson distribution", I totally lost it and I could understand the concept but didn't get any of the equations including "lim". I thought it might be because it was because I didn't have basic knowledge, so I just have finished studying precalculus and see what to study next, and while looking to decide what to study next, I found that actually "Statistics and probability" were placed top to "Precalculus", and even "AP®︎ Statistics" was also placed the top of Precalculus, and limit was comming from “Differential Calculus” which was even below when Precalculus. So I came up with the idea that Math section might not mean to be from top to bottom. If it is the case, how should I draw my map of study? I have found below documents but they didn't give me the answer I wanted.
