How can we help?

If this post covers a topic that you’re interested in discussing with the community or requests a feature you’d like to see on Khan Academy, you can try to find an active post about it and add your thoughts (or feel free or create a new post if it doesn’t yet exist in the forum).

To better illustrate what I mean, the following are some screenshots:

First, a good working example with Arithmetic Course, and Unit Mastery on Progress Tab:

1. With Arithmetic selected as Course, the Units are displayed correctly below the overall Course Mastery.

2. Selecting a Unit (e.g. Addition and Subtraction) will show the Unit Mastery progress as expected:

Next, the problem example with Basic Geometry, and Unit Mastery on Progress Tab:

1. Basic Geometry is not a selectable Course, therefore, Math needs to be selected as Course as shown here:

2. Basic Geometry thus becomes a "unit" under the Math "course" as shown below (scrolled down from previous screenshot):

3. Clicking on Basic geometry "unit" shows only the overall mastery, and the individual Skills, as shown below:

This misses out the Units that should be under Basic Geometry, like Lines (Skills 1 to 4 in the list), Angles (Skills 5 to 19), etc.

I have found that I can assign lessons, quizzes, tests, etc. from the Basic Geometry section if I include The World of Math as a COURSE in my Class through the settings feature. It is a workaround that works for now. :)

I search "the world of math" and it autofills as if something should be available, but It doesn't show up when searched.

I have the same request as the OP.  Can Basic Geometry be added so that we can monitor progress (% Mastery) just as we would in High School Geometry or Algebra I?  I get that there are "work arounds" but that is not helpful when you are dealing with a large amount of students.
