About probability and statistics on Khan academy.
Would I need a lot of calculus while doing Statistics and Probability?
No need for calculus to cover the topics on Khan Academy. But, if you wish to study probability and statistics at the college level you will have to be familiar with multivariable calculus and linear algebra.
I didn’t need much calculus when I did Probability and statistics. I do remember an advanced concept or two where it was useful to know calculus to understand a concept, but I don’t recall which one or whether it was absolutely necessary to know it.
thanks nimnath I am thinking to continue from statistics and probility, calculus onwards, and useing the otheres as a resource better than going over again after accadently deleting my old Khan academy account, I am self teaching myself in my spair time even with me being 37yr old, I do not need the SATs, but its good to earn energy points and badges, So when I am trying to make up my mind I just love this site, sorry for the typos I am useing my chromebook and in a bit of a hurry.
oh I guess even with me being familiar up until calculus I noticed the SATs do quadratics, imaginary, polynominal so I guess everything little helps, oh there good one alot of sites do courses, plus cosmolearn, and free pdf books and youtube. I know alot says I don`t need to learn and watch everyone on khan academy but just love the site makes you run in circles.
