Recovering deleted assignments/scores (teachers) (avoid accidental deletion)

Just recently accidentally deleted quite a few assignments for my students and I have lost all their progress. I reported it but there is no way to retrieve these grades or assignments. I think a tab of “recently deleted” assignments for teachers would be great. Then teachers could recover certain assignments and progress for up to 30 days or something. It seems crazy that all this is just lost after two clicks. Issue was that I was creating a new class but just editing an old class to do it. It happened to be the same subject as a class that still existed and I deleted the wrong assignments.

Hello Sally! I feel your pain! I had a similar incident last year and wanted to tear my hair out; as have many many other users. The Khan developers are aware of this feature request. I understand this doesn't help you in your current situation and I am sorry for that. Please let me know if you have any further questions, comments, or suggestions. Thank you for posting.

I know this might be a little late for some people. Here's what I did, because I just had this same thing happen to me. I went to the settings page for my class, and unassigned the sections that they had done, like Arithmetic and 6th Grade Math, and then check 8th grade math. Then Reassigned the sections and their progress came back.
