I’ll start you off with a hint.

Percentage is based on the smaller number (2 in this case) divided by the larger number (36). This is also known as a proportion. If you divide 2 by 36, you will get a decimal number between zero and one. Use a calculator or long division to get this number. You may also reduce the fraction from 2/36 to 1/18.

The next step is to take the decimal number you got and multiply it by 100. This is the percentage. In this particular case, you will get a repeating decimal. Your teacher or your written instructions may tell you how many places to round this to. Otherwise, use your judgment.
