I am a High School Spanish teacher and I do love the concept of Khan Academy. However, is there a possibility to add some courses to address the needs of Foreign Language instruction? Thanks.

Hi Maria Lynaugh,

I've seen a lot of foreign language requests. I agree with you on this, I would love to see KA add such courses in the future.

Foreign languages are especially needed by students in the United States. Most countries teach their students more than one language and it seems like the U.S. is definitely far behind in knowing more than one language. Let's see some basic language skills taught here in Spanish, French and so on.

I came to Khan Academy specifically looking for foreign language training. I was a bit surprised that there isn't any.
