Update: 2018 Back-to-School Features!

The Khan Academy team is thrilled to announce the launch of several new feature for the 2018-19 school year. Some of these include:

New Mastery Mechanics for teachers and learners to better understand their progress through Courses and Units within Courses.

Teacher View of Course Mastery:

A feature that allows teachers to assign the same problems to all students in an exercise to better facilitate group or whole-class work.

A view to support teachers in identifying common misconceptions in an assignment.

The ability to assign directly from the Progress tab, where you can see which students need work (or more work) on specific skills.

Assignment views where teachers can manage assignment specifics, view student performance, and click into specific by-student or by-assignment reports

The ability to assign Course Mastery to students so that they can work on a year’s worth of material at their own pace.
